Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA) organizes “Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress” on 13-14 April 2017. 400 delegates will attend the congress and 60 papers will be presented during this event. This congress will be followed by representatives of the ready mixed concrete sector and sub-industry firms besides academicians and researchers.

Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA), with the main objectives of improved quality and increased consumption of the ready mixed concrete produced and used in Turkey, organized the ERMCO - European Ready Mixed Concrete Congresses in 1995 and 2015 and national ready mixed concrete congresses in 2004, 2008, 2011 and 2013. Believing that the sector will be developed by mutual consultation and effort, TRMCA has made a decision to organize Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress.

The congress is structured in sessions on topics such as constituents of concrete, quality control of production process, in-situ quality control, special concretes, concrete design and solutions for specific projects, reclaimed/recycled concrete, concrete roads and highway safety structures, concrete plants and productivity of concrete delivery, recent developments in concrete technology. The Scientific Commitee of Beton 2017 Congress has agreed on organising the congress for reputed Emeritus Prof.Dr. Saim AKYÜZ.  Known for the studies on mechanical modelling of concrete, he is one of the names that provided valuable contribution for the establishment of the KGS - Quality Assurance System in 1996 thus the increase of the quality of the ready mixed concrete in Turkey.

The congress is organized with the contribution of main sponsors “Ford Trucks” and “Betonstar” and official sponsors “Epo”, “Yapıchem”, “Chryso”, “Pascal” and “İston”. After evaluation, the Scientific Commitee of Beton 2017 Congress has accepted 60 papers.
